My name is Marlys. Degu, LLC started as an idea at the United States Naval Academy, and was launched into a company as an answer to my personal challenge in life. It is our hope that you will find some comfort and motivation to triumph over the particular challenge you are facing in your life. We utilize a little animal called a degu and the acronym DEGU which stands for "Don't Ever Give Up", to encourage you and to remind you that everyone is facing a challenge in his or her life.
This site offers links to support groups, a forum platform, motivational articles, and an opportunity to purchase gifts for yourself or others that will serve to remind you to "Don't Ever Give Up". We will donate a portion of profits to various charities designated by you or chosen by us. One of our charities is the American Cancer Society for Melanoma Research. We also intend to target children's support groups and different athlete events. It is our mission to provide anyone needing encouragement and motivation, an unassuming reminder to "Don't Ever Give Up".
